Challenges
The main challenges around using these games and activities during distance learning will be:
(1) Not all families have a working printer to print out the materials. Mailing printed materials to families would remove this barrier.
(2) This program assumes children have an adult helper. Even though these games and activities are family-friendly, some families may be under too much stress/time pressure/other challenges to participate.
Catching up when schools reopen
When schools reopen, teachers, staff members, or community volunteers can use these games and activities to help children catch back up.
